Spectacular in every way. From the first morsel to the dessert, absolutely every detail was perfection. Couldn’t imagine a better place to celebrate a special occasion. The wagyu was a particularly lovey surprise amidst a tasting menu focused on seafood.

Absolutely amazing. Brilliant, beautifully cooked food served with well matched wines that totally enhanced the flavours. The menu was predominantly seafood with a Japanese twist. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend and I can't wait to return.

My husband and I agree — our dinner at Lyla was easily one of the best meals we’ve ever had. Every detail was spot on. The service was impeccable: warm, attentive, and genuine without ever feeling stuffy. We loved the relaxed atmosphere — it strikes that perfect balance of special but comfortable. And the food? Absolutely incredible. Every dish was beautifully prepared and delicious. Even the background music added to the experience. A truly memorable evening — we can’t wait to return.

We had a lovely experience last night. Food was superb but service all night was even better. Friendly, professional, relaxed and informative.Having dined in many starred restaurants over the years in London, Edinburgh and elsewhere LYLA is now a firm favourite.

I had such a great solo dining experience. The food was amazing and impossible to pick a favorite. The wine pairings matched really well and definitely enhanced the flavors. I wish I could eat like this every night, but what a great place to splurge. Seeing the staff and chefs in action was really fun and interesting as well.
